Every year, on May 19, together with the whole country, we are moved to remember our beloved Uncle Ho. On May 19, 1946, for the first time, our people celebrated the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party, State and People. From then on, every May 19, our people live together in special moments, overflowing with joy, loving Uncle Ho infinitely.
President Ho Chi Minh (his childhood name was Nguyen Sinh Cung, his school name was Nguyen Tat Thanh, his revolutionary name was Nguyen Ai Quoc...) was born on May 19, 1890 in a patriotic Confucian family in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.
Uncle Ho was born when the country was under the invasion of French colonialism. The brutal domination of French colonialism made national conflicts extremely fierce, and a series of patriotic movements with different tendencies continuously broke out to resolve that main conflict. Although the struggles for national liberation were fierce, they all failed in the end, because of the lack of a correct path to save the country and a leadership organization capable of gathering the strength of the entire nation.
In that context, in June 1911, the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh left the country to find a way to save the country and liberate the nation. In 1920, Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc came to Marxism - Leninism, the theory of Marxism - Leninism enlightened Nguyen Ai Quoc that if he wanted to save the country and liberate the nation, he must first have a "Revolutionary Party" to "mobilize and organize the people internally, and contact the oppressed people and the proletariat everywhere externally". From that awareness, Nguyen Ai Quoc made every effort to prepare for the establishment of a proletarian political party in Vietnam. He gradually and systematically spread Marxism - Leninism into the country, bringing the workers' movement from a spontaneous level to a self-conscious level, with a clear revolutionary path.
In the spring of 1930, he chaired the conference to unify the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam. With the establishment of the Party and his wise and talented leadership, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army were united in making resounding victories in the cause of national liberation and independence for our Fatherland, ending with the general uprising in the spring of 1975, the peak of which was the Ho Chi Minh campaign, which achieved complete victory, bringing our Fatherland back together and opening a new era of national independence and socialism. From here, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army united together in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
To commemorate Uncle Ho's merits, in the historic month of May, our whole country is striving to achieve many achievements to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh - the Father, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, a world cultural celebrity. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, bringing a life of freedom, prosperity and happiness to the people.

Our people's resistance is winning big,
Forward! Me and my children".
Although Uncle Ho has passed away, every Vietnamese person and friend of the Vietnamese people share the same sentiment: Uncle Ho is not gone. Uncle Ho still lives forever with the country, the country and friends everywhere. Every year, in May, all the people in all the countrysides of Vietnam and friends from all over the world still enthusiastically celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday. Reviewing the valuable lessons and pure deeds of Uncle Ho on the occasion of his birthday will be an opportunity for us to look at the great example, the role model; learn and follow Uncle Ho's moral example and style.
