On the afternoon of November 17, at the Special Forces Officer School, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected the training and demonstration work for the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022 of the Special Forces Corps.
After inspecting the performances, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan praised the sense of responsibility, training efforts and creativity throughout the training process of the participating forces. The beautiful martial arts performances promoted the strengths of the Special Forces, demonstrated the beauty of military martial arts, the quintessence of Vietnamese martial arts, contributing to affirming the strength of the army and the national defense of Vietnam.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan emphasized that the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022, hosted by the Ministry of National Defense for the first time, is one of the important defense foreign affairs events in 2022. This is an opportunity for domestic manufacturers and the world's leading suppliers to display and introduce the most advanced equipment, weapons and technology systems right in Vietnam. Therefore, in order to ensure the success of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022, all preparations must be carried out meticulously and carefully. Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan requested that agencies coordinate closely to ensure logistics and technical support for training and demonstration; practice according to the established scenario, closely following the intentions of the Exhibition Organizing Committee.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan affirmed that, along with forces such as the Air Force performing a welcome flight, the Special Forces soldiers will be the representative image of the Vietnamese Army at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022. Therefore, each participating officer and soldier must thoroughly understand the purpose and requirements of the mission, build determination to successfully complete the training and performance work, and create a good impression of the Vietnam People's Army to international friends.
During the Opening Ceremony of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022, the Special Forces will perform martial arts, mixed martial arts, Special Forces combat martial arts, battle drums, traditional martial arts performances, combat martial arts performances, bare-handed boxing, weapons, qigong and special skills... Notably, after the end of the battle drum performance, the ensemble will form the words "VIETNAM DEFENCE 2022".
In preparation for the 2022 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition, the Special Forces have closely followed the intentions of the Defense Exhibition Organizing Committee, developed a training and demonstration plan for the 2022 International Defense Exhibition, and closely coordinated with relevant agencies and units to carry out the task. The training and demonstration plan for the 2022 International Defense Exhibition has been promptly deployed for the organizing units to implement.
The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022 is scheduled to be held from December 8 to 10 at Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi). The exhibition will feature many activities including product displays and demonstrations, business connections, and in-depth technical presentations to help update information and answer questions in the operation of specialized combat equipment and vehicles, along with cultural activities introducing the country and people of Vietnam.
