(CPV) - The Central Military Commission Standing Committee Conference reviewed, discussed, and decided on a number of important contents and gave opinions on the preparation work to develop a plan to organize the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
On July 7, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense chaired the Central Military Commission Standing Committee Conference.
The conference reviewed, discussed, decided on a number of important contents, and gave opinions on the preparation work to build a plan to organize the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
After listening to the opinions and discussions at the conference, General Phan Van Giang emphasized: The 2022 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition was successfully organized, highly appreciated by international friends, contributing to affirming the prestige and position of the Vietnam People's Army in particular and Vietnam in general in the international arena. Therefore, the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition is even more important. Along with contributing to promoting trade and expanding international cooperation for military enterprises, promoting the development of Vietnam's defense industry, the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition is also a highlight event in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22.
