The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is an opportunity to promote and disseminate the capacity, technological potential, weapons and equipment produced by the Vietnamese defense industry to international friends and the people at home. The products on display must demonstrate the development achievements of the defense industry, thereby showing Vietnam's defense strength, promoting international integration and defense cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.

For many months now, the Ministry of National Defense has been actively preparing space, display products and performances for the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, which will take place from December 16-19, 2024.
To improve the quality of personnel serving the Exhibition, the General Department of Defense Industry recently organized a professional training conference for officers performing tasks at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. The conference included 4 topics: Overview of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024; work on protecting state secrets, military secrets and ensuring security and safety at the Exhibition; reception, foreign affairs and points to note in reception serving the Exhibition; duties of officers serving in the functional areas of the Exhibition.
Major General Nguyen Viet Hung, Standing Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry, requested the Organizing Committee to strictly maintain the content, program, and training time according to the set plan, ensuring quality and effectiveness. The officers performing tasks at the Exhibition must uphold the sense of responsibility, absorb the contents of the Conference; frankly discuss unclear issues and proactively learn, accumulate experience and skills to serve the 2024 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition successfully, which is a highlight of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).
The cultural space exhibition area at the Exhibition is also being actively prepared by the Communications Subcommittee. The exhibition area will introduce the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam People's Army in the new period, including video wall systems, touch screens allowing visitors to access information content, data and digitized videos and images. Thereby, viewers will learn more about the outstanding achievements in building a regular, elite and modern army; especially in combat readiness training, logistics, technical support, mass mobilization, rescue, helping people prevent natural disasters, epidemics, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and applying science and technology development to serve national defense and people's lives. In particular, at the cultural space, art programs have taken place with diverse and rich themes and scripts, in line with the principles, purposes and foreign affairs activities of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, also surveyed a number of products of the Chemical Corps scheduled to be displayed at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan requested the units participating in displaying products at the Exhibition, including the Chemical Corps, to do a good job of preparation, selecting outstanding products with high scientific content to introduce quality products of the Vietnamese defense industry to the world. The products on display must demonstrate the development achievements of the defense industry, thereby showing the defense strength of Vietnam, promoting international integration and defense cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.
The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 will take place on a total area of over 28,000 m2 (including indoor and outdoor). There will be booths displaying and introducing defense and security products of Vietnamese and international defense industry companies. To date, 85 contacts and companies from 22 countries and territories have registered to exhibit at the Exhibition, in addition to dozens of potential companies and other partners who are continuing to exchange information.
On the Vietnamese side, the Ministry of National Defense's booth is expected to display in 7 indoor zones and 1 outdoor zone, including many products such as: Guns, equipment, accessories, semi-finished bullets, propellants, explosives, high-tech weapons, logistics and technical products and those of agencies and units in the entire army...
