On the morning of November 22, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected the preparations and training of forces serving the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022 at Gia Lam airport (Hanoi).
Attending the inspection were Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, and leaders of relevant agencies and units.
Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien and his delegation inspected and reviewed all aspects of preparation, especially the areas and construction items serving the exhibition, and the contents related to the program; at the same time, they inspected the joint training of the Air Defense - Air Force and the performance of the Special Forces. At each inspection location, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien and Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh directly gave their opinions on the preparation work from reception, logistics, decoration, celebration to ensuring security, safety, communication, propaganda, health care, etc.
After listening to the report and suggestions, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien praised and highly appreciated the Organizing Committee and the functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense for actively and proactively implementing preparations for the exhibition.
Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien emphasized that the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022, hosted by the Ministry of National Defense for the first time, is one of the important defense diplomacy events this year. This is an opportunity to promote and demonstrate Vietnam's defense strength; at the same time, it is an opportunity for domestic manufacturers and the world's leading suppliers to display and introduce advanced equipment, weapons, and technology systems.
In that spirit, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien requested that subcommittees and relevant agencies and units, based on their assigned tasks, continue to promote a sense of responsibility, coordinate and cooperate closely with each other to ensure that all preparations are carried out meticulously and thoroughly, thereby contributing to the success of the exhibition.

The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022 will be held from December 8 to 10. The exhibition will feature many activities such as product displays and demonstrations, business connections, and in-depth technical presentations to help update information, answer questions in the operation of specialized combat equipment and vehicles, and cultural activities to introduce the country and people of Vietnam.
