CNQP&KT - On the afternoon of December 20, at the Tay Ho District Sports Complex (Hanoi), the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) held the closing ceremony of the 2022 annual sports activities.
Taking place from December 12-20, the sports activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2022); 33 years of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2022); 50 years of the "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air" victory (December 1972 - December 2022) of GAET Corporation gathered 21 teams, with more than 200 athletes from agencies and member units in the Hanoi area, competing in 3 sports (mini football, badminton and tug of war). After 8 days of exciting competition, the teams completed all the competition content as planned, achieving the set goals and requirements. The Organizing Committee and referees have managed, supervised and evaluated the competition results closely, objectively and accurately; the athletes have promoted their roles and responsibilities well, competed with the spirit of "honesty, solidarity and nobility", ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
Competition results: Badminton: 2 pairs from Room 4 won First and Second place; Room A4 pairs won Third place. Tug of war: Joint Army 197 - Metco team won First place; Industrial Explosives Company won Second place; Factory Z179 and T608 tied for Third place. Mini football: Industrial Explosives Company won First place; Joint Army 1 team won Second place; Joint Army 2 team and Factory Z179 tied for Third place.
In his closing speech, Colonel Tran Manh Hung, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of GAET Corporation, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the units and athletes participating in sports activities in 2022. At the same time, he requested that agencies and units in the Corporation continue to create conditions for officers, employees and workers to have time and conditions to participate in sports activities, creating a useful playground for the spirit and physical health of workers, contributing to building a good and healthy cultural environment, building a strong and comprehensive agency and unit.
