On the morning of August 17, 2023 in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation held the opening ceremony of the Political Theory Training Class for new Party members and those admitted to the Party in 2023. Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Tran Manh Hung - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation and comrades in the class's Organizing Committee.
Colonel Tran Manh Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Corporation of Defense Industry Economics and Technology delivered the opening speech of the Course.
The class had 111 outstanding students and 104 new party members from 18 party committees and grassroots party cells under the Party Committee of the Corporation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the two classes, Colonel Tran Manh Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation emphasized: Training, fostering and developing new party members is one of the important tasks of Party building. Through the classes, the requirements for new party members are to grasp the basic and core knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought; basic issues of the Vietnamese revolutionary line; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations; and the tasks of party members. On that basis, each new party member builds a plan to strive and train to become an official party member, worthy of the title of member of the Communist Party of Vietnam. For those who are admitted to the Party, attending the class is only the first step in the process of striving to be admitted to the Party. Therefore, after attending the course, the elite masses will continue to apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned to practical work and study, strive to practice political qualities, ethics and lifestyle, uphold the sense of responsibility, and strive to soon join the Party. The comrade asked the students to uphold the sense of responsibility, study seriously, strictly follow the class rules; proactively study more documents, increase exchanges in class, and absorb the lectures to achieve the highest efficiency.
Students participating in the Political Theory Training Course for new Party members are taught 10 topics according to regulations, including: Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought - the ideological foundation and compass for our Party's revolutionary actions; National independence associated with socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; Promoting the strength of the entire nation, socialist democracy, building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state; The Party's socio-economic development guidelines; Developing culture and society; Strengthening national defense and security, firmly protecting the homeland, maintaining a peaceful environment, political stability, order and social safety; Proactively and actively integrating into the international community; Principles of Party organization and operation and Party building work at the grassroots level; Strengthening Party building and rectification; Striving and training to be worthy of the title of member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Students participating in the Party Awareness Training Class will study 05 topics according to regulations, including: Overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Platform for national construction during the transition period to socialism; Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality; Basic content of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the end of the course, students who complete the learning content, write a report, and meet the requirements will be granted a certificate by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Corporation of Economic and Technical Defense Industry./.
