Reporting to Uncle Ho on the results of the emulation and reward work and the International Youth Movement in the period of 2019 - 2024, Colonel Nguyen Duc Tang stated: In the period of 2019 - 2024, the International Youth Movement in the General Department developed strongly in both breadth and depth with rich content and creative ways of doing things; closely combining the International Youth Movement with campaigns of all levels and sectors, becoming an endogenous driving force, spreading, creating a vibrant atmosphere, encouraging, motivating and motivating cadres, soldiers and workers to overcome all difficulties, strive to rise up, and excellently complete all regular and unexpected tasks.
Over the past 5 years, the International Youth Movement has directly contributed to building agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, organization and personnel; building a team of cadres and soldiers with strong political will, high determination, ready to receive and complete all tasks well.
With outstanding achievements, from 2019 to present, the General Department of Defense Industry has had 1 collective awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the resistance war period by the State; 40 collectives and 21 individuals were awarded the Independence Medal, Military Exploit Medal, Labor Medal, and Fatherland Protection Medal; 5 collectives were awarded the Government Emulation Flag; 45 collectives were awarded the Ministry of National Defense Emulation Flag; 22 collectives and 23 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister; 2 individuals were awarded the title of National Emulation Fighter; 174 individuals were awarded the title of Army Emulation Fighter; 229 collectives and 695 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of National Defense; 83 collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag by the General Department of Defense Industry; 702 collectives achieved the title of Determined-to-Win Unit; 1,083 grassroots emulation fighters and tens of thousands of collectives and individuals were commended at all levels.
The delegation promises to continue to promote the International Military Movement in units, promote the tradition of the heroic Vietnamese military workers, unite with one heart, uphold responsibility, and be determined to compete to excellently complete all assigned tasks, build a clean and strong General Department Party Committee, a comprehensively strong General Department "exemplary and typical"; build and develop the "Proactive, self-reliant, self-reliant, dual-purpose, modern" defense industry, becoming the spearhead of the defense industry, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern army.
According to the program, on the afternoon of August 19, the delegation will offer incense and flowers at the Memorial Monument of the Military Industry and the Vietnam Weapon Production Trade Union in Pac San 2 village, Dong Tam town, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province.
