CNQP&KT - The Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) has just held a conference to summarize the tasks of 2024 and deploy the tasks of 2025.
According to information at the conference, in 2024, GAET Corporation will perform well in corporate management and administration, ensuring capital and cash flow for production and business. Military trade and defense foreign affairs activities will continue to be expanded and developed; production of defense products and commercial business will be promoted; industrial explosives business will promote its strengths, core business lines will bring high revenue and profit to the unit. Notably, at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 taking place from December 19 to 23 in Hanoi, the Corporation will successfully fulfill its role as the trade representative of the Exhibition and will be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of National Defense.

Awarded to comrades with outstanding achievements in participating in the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
Last year, the Corporation's revenue reached VND 8,400 billion, an increase of 27.3% compared to the annual plan and 30% compared to 2023; profit reached VND 69 billion, an increase of 10.3% compared to 2023; average income reached over VND 16.7 million/person/month, an increase of 12.3% compared to 2023.
In 2025, the Corporation will promote the spirit of innovation, focus on breakthroughs in "Corporate governance - Upholding principles - Research and development - Debt settlement - Safety and efficiency", comprehensively complete the assigned targets and tasks with higher results than in 2024; maintain cooperative relationships with traditional customers, actively expand new markets; strive for a growth rate of 8% or more than the annual plan. In addition, focus on building a strong unit in politics, organization, force and military work; proactively arrange and consolidate the organizational apparatus according to the Prime Minister's Project 66 on restructuring military enterprises, period 2021 - 2025; actively implement digital transformation, administrative reform, etc.

At the Conference, authorized by the superiors, the leaders and commanders of the Corporation awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense to 1 collective and 4 individuals; Certificates of Merit from the Chief of the General Staff to 2 collectives and 8 individuals; Certificates of Merit from the Head of the General Department of Defense Industry to 1 collective and 10 individuals; Certificates of Merit from the Corporation to 5 collectives and 31 individuals for their outstanding achievements in performing tasks at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. The leaders and commanders of the Corporation also awarded the titles of "Excellent Labor Collective" and "Advanced Labor Collective" to collectives, party organizations and party members with high achievements in 2024.
On this occasion, the Corporation also launched the emulation movement "Determined to Win 2025" with the theme "Democracy, solidarity, discipline, determination, creativity, and determination to win" and signed an emulation covenant.
