On January 23, the Trade Union of the General Department of Defense Industry organized the program "Loving Tet, Connecting Spring" to give Tet gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, cadres, union members, and workers in difficult circumstances, those with long-term illnesses on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Comrade Dang Dinh Ngoc, Chairman of the General Corporation's Trade Union, Deputy Head of Politics reported on the outstanding results of trade union organizations at all levels in caring for workers, organizing workers' movements and trade union activities associated with the implementation of the unit's key political tasks. Trade unions at all levels have coordinated with commanders to resolve proposals and recommendations from workers, improve working conditions; ensure the salary and bonus regime for the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 with the average Tet bonus in 2025 being over 30 million VND/person, an increase of 67.4% compared to 2023.
During the Lunar New Year, the Corporation donated 235 million VND to 50 cases with support levels ranging from 2.5 million to 8 million VND from the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Defense Industry and the Corporation's production and business resources to policy beneficiaries, meritorious families, and workers in difficult circumstances with long-term illnesses.
