CNQP&KT - Recently, the Party Committee of the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) held a conference to evaluate the leadership results of implementing tasks in 2023 and set out directions and tasks for 2024.
According to information at the Conference, in 2023, the Party Committee and the Command of GAET Corporation will promptly direct agencies and units to make efforts to overcome and remove difficulties, actively and comprehensively implement all aspects of work, especially promoting the "Determination to Win" emulation movement to contribute to the successful implementation of production and business tasks. Accordingly, in the field of military trade, GAET has proactively coordinated closely with investors and partners to sign 25 new contracts and implement over 80 signed contracts, liquidating 24 contracts. Regarding the defense production task, it has completed the production of products of two military vehicle design and manufacturing projects; at the same time, the production of technical supplies and mechanical products for a number of units inside and outside the General Department of Defense Industry ensures progress and quality. GAET has also actively participated in military foreign affairs activities through a number of defense and security exhibitions in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Brazil and the Vietnam - Cambodia Economic - Defense Products Exhibition Fair 2023 in Cambodia. Industrial explosives business activities continue to be effective in conjunction with promoting drilling and blasting services, complete blasting, oil and gas services... It is expected that in 2023, the output of industrial explosives will reach nearly 44,000 tons, with revenue reaching nearly 2,200 billion VND. During the year, GAET signed 33 new contracts for surveying and supervising the clearance of mines and explosives with a total value of nearly 140 billion VND; Currently implementing 60 contracts, expected revenue to reach over 95 billion VND, exceeding 12.8% compared to 2022. In 2023, GAET's expected revenue is approximately 6,240 billion VND, average income per employee is 13.8 million VND/person/month.
In 2024, the Party Committee of GAET Corporation will focus on leading and directing all assigned tasks with the motto "Ensuring principles; handling debts, financial safety; improving production and business efficiency". Regarding production and business tasks, strive to achieve revenue of 6,400 billion VND (equal to 102.6% compared to 2023), average income of 14.3 million VND/person/month (equal to 103.6% compared to 2023).
