Recently, on May 9, 2025, the General Department of Defense Industry and Economics (GAET) held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Chairman of the General Department chaired the conference.
According to information at the conference, after receiving the Directive, Plan, and Guidance from above to implement Directive 05-CT/TW, the Party Committee of GAET Corporation promptly grasped and developed a plan for serious implementation. Party committees and subordinate Party organizations have focused on leading and implementing Directive 05 as defined in the annual resolution in conjunction with Party building and rectification and regulations on exemplary responsibility of cadres, leaders, and commanders at all levels.
Over the past 10 years, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Corporation has closely led and directed the dissemination, education and implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo and Directive 87 of the Central Military Commission in conjunction with the dissemination and implementation of Resolution 4 of the 11th, 12th and 13th Central Committees on Party building, the "Determined to Win" emulation movement and campaigns at all levels and sectors in the entire unit. Every year, 100% of cadres, party members and the masses register to commit to striving to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee. In particular, the responsibility of cadres, party members, union members and association members in implementation is promoted. The Corporation focuses on building, discovering and promptly praising and rewarding creative models and practices; typical collectives and individuals in ethics and lifestyle in work and production to spread throughout the unit. Putting the content of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle into the action program, associated with the implementation of key political tasks, has significantly contributed to improving the unit's production and business efficiency. In the period of 2016-2025, the Corporation's revenue increased by an average of nearly 13%/year, the average income increased by over 7%/year; the lives of cadres, employees and workers have been constantly improved. In addition, the Corporation always associates studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with campaigns and emulation movements such as "The Army joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", "The Army joins hands to build new countryside", as well as the Army's rear policy work, association policy, gratitude activities, etc.
Summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, the Corporation commended and rewarded 06 collectives and 19 individuals with good achievements in the period 2016-2025.
Also on the same day, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Corporation, Colonel Lo Ba Thu - Member of the Party Committee, Political Commissar, disseminated and implemented the Conclusions of the Politburo and the Resolution of the Central Military Commission on improving civil defense capacity by 2030 and the following years./.
