CNQP&KT - On the morning of December 4, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat held a national conference to study and disseminate the Resolution of the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
The conference was held in person and online, connecting to 16,242 points nationwide, with the participation of millions of cadres and party members. Attending at the Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly (Hanoi) were Politburo members: President Vo Van Thuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung; Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai; members and former members of the Politburo, Central Secretaries, members of the Central Party Executive Committee; leaders of departments, ministries, branches and mass organizations under the Central Committee, etc.
Attending the online conference at the General Department of Defense Industry (GDDI) bridge were Major General Nguyen Viet Hung, Standing Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of GDDI; comrades in the Standing Member of the Party Committee, Head of GDDI; leaders, commanders and Political Commissars of agencies and units under the GDDI; comrades heads and deputy heads of departments, offices and comrades with the rank of Colonel of the GDDI.
During the Conference (including 1 day of studying, learning, and thoroughly grasping the Resolution; 1/2 day of implementing the action program to implement the Resolution), delegates listened to Politburo member and President Vo Van Thuong deliver a presentation on the topic: Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy. Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered a presentation on the topic: Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period. General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense delivered a presentation on the topic: Strategy to defend the Fatherland in the new situation. Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia delivered a presentation on the topic: Continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period.
The content of the topics focuses on the core issues and new points of the resolutions to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in implementing the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference, 13th tenure. On that basis, Party committees and Party organizations continue to thoroughly grasp and widely propagate the resolutions in localities, agencies and units; develop plans and action programs to implement the Resolution specifically, practically and effectively.
The conference took place in the context that the entire Party, people and army are striving to successfully implement plans and goals for 2023 and the following years. The contents conveyed at the conference are extremely important for cadres and party members, especially party committees at all levels, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
