In order to meet the demand for fireworks during holidays, birthdays, conferences, etc., Factory Z121 - Ministry of National Defense has produced fireworks that do not cause explosions and sold them to people at agents and business locations in 56 provinces and cities nationwide. However, there is currently a phenomenon of some individuals without a license arbitrarily buying fireworks produced by the Ministry of National Defense and reselling them to people for profit.
The research, production and trading of fireworks must comply with strict technical and safety requirements (according to QCVN 04:2021/BCA issued with Circular No. 125/2021/TT-BCA dated December 30, 2021 of the Minister of Public Security). Currently, the whole country has only 2 units (under the Ministry of National Defense) licensed to trade in fireworks products, including: Factory Z121 and GAET Corporation. Therefore, the buying and selling of fireworks products outside the stores of Factory Z121 and GAET Corporation (including buying and selling via social networks) is contrary to the provisions of law.
To ensure safety during the 2024 Lunar New Year and prevent violations of the law, people are requested to comply with regulations on the management and use of fireworks. People should only buy and use fireworks at dealers licensed by the Ministry of National Defense. Any act of manufacturing, trading, storing, transporting, using, and advertising illegal fireworks will be handled according to the provisions of law./.
