Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and its partner companies announced on April 1 that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on training and providing specialized human resources with the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) under the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam on March 29. According to the agreement, KAI and GAET will jointly organize aerospace training programs at Vietnamese educational institutions, such as vocational colleges under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, to train more than 100 aerospace personnel each year. KAI plans to take advantage of Vietnam's abundant human resources and infrastructure to train highly qualified human resources, alleviate the labor shortage problem for the group's partner companies in the country, and strengthen the Korean defense industry ecosystem.
