CNQP&KT - In the first 6 months of 2023, the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) made efforts to overcome difficulties, actively promoted production and business, and achieved positive results.
Accordingly, GAET Corporation (under the General Department of Defense Industry - CNQP) proactively coordinates closely with investors, partners, and customers to seek and establish new contracts on military trade and is implementing 87 contracts.
For defense production, the Corporation actively implements production tasks assigned by the General Department of Defense Industry; participates in research programs, testing and production of technical supplies for the automobile, armored vehicle, and engineering motorcycle industries. Economic production continues to maintain market share, maintain and develop the industrial explosives supply market, ensuring progress and quality; at the same time, ensuring the supply of input materials for explosive production of factories under the General Department of Defense Industry. It is expected that in the first 6 months of the year, GAET will consume 22,839 tons of explosives, with revenue reaching 1,111 billion VND, equal to 51.43% of the yearly plan; supplying nearly 15,000 tons of TNT, TENT, crystalline NH4NO3, porous NH4NO3, and NaNO3. The mine clearance activities have carried out survey, supervision and construction contracts with revenue reaching over 60.12 billion VND, equal to 71.05% of the yearly plan, ensuring absolute safety. Other activities, such as: transportation business, industrial production, vocational training - labor export, trade business - goods and materials... also achieved the set plan.
In the first 6 months of 2023, GAET's revenue is expected to reach over VND 2,730 billion, reaching nearly 50% of the annual plan; the average income of employees is over VND 12 million/person/month (equal to 109.8% compared to the same period in 2022).
