At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Chairman of GAET Corporation, reported on the production and business results in 2024 and the orientation for 2025 of the Corporation.
Accordingly, in 2024, GAET Corporation has proactively coordinated closely with investors, partners, and customers to search, create, and establish military commercial contracts, ensuring procedures, quality, and progress according to regulations; producing technical materials, processing mechanical parts to serve defense tasks, etc.
Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry, delivered a speech at the meeting.
Business activities of industrial explosives, services related to industrial explosives and input materials for explosives factories in the General Department of Defense Industry have maintained stable development.
The total output of industrial explosives consumed in 2024 is more than 42,000 tons. Along with that, the Corporation also exports more than 4,900 tons of explosives to foreign partners, ensuring absolute safety.
The Corporation's revenue in 2024 will reach VND 8,500 billion, an increase of 32% compared to 2023; profit will reach VND 82 billion, an increase of 31% compared to 2023; average income of employees will reach nearly VND 17 million/person/month.

The Corporation maintains a disciplined Party and political work, strictly implements the regime of activities and activities of Party organizations, focuses on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels; actively innovates and improves the quality of political and ideological education; ensures good policies and regimes for cadres, employees and workers; closely coordinates with local Party committees and authorities where units are stationed to do a good job of mass mobilization, ensuring security and order.
Regarding the direction and tasks for 2025, the Corporation will continue to proactively coordinate closely with investors, partners, and customers to seek, create, and establish contracts for the production and export of defense and economic products.
Proactively follow the tasks of the units to ensure materials and techniques for the production and repair of weapons and military equipment. The Corporation strives to achieve revenue of VND 9,000 billion in 2025, profit of VND 86 billion, and average income of employees of over VND 17 million/person/month.
Speaking at the meeting, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung commended the results that GAET Corporation achieved in 2024.
The Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry requested that in the coming time, the Corporation should proactively coordinate with the specialized agencies of the General Department, thoroughly resolve existing problems and limitations; actively expand the product consumption market, maintain the market share and traditional brand of the Corporation.
The Corporation needs to improve the effectiveness of corporate governance, combined with strengthening supervision, inspection and control of the activities of member units; focus on studying the arrangement, streamlining of the apparatus, arranging, using, promoting, rotating and appointing cadres reasonably, the right person, the right job; building solidarity and unity within the Party Committee, command and the entire unit; maintaining regularity and discipline; successfully organizing the Party Congress of the Corporation.
