On the morning of August 15, in Thanh Hoa, the Defense Industry Economic and Technical Corporation (GAET) held a conference to review the implementation of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" (Campaign 50), period 2020-2024.

According to information at the conference, in recent years, the implementation of the 50 Campaign has always been closely led and directed by the Party Committee and the General Command of GAET Corporation, considering it a key political task. The 50 Campaign has been seriously and systematically implemented by GAET; the production and business activities of the unit are closely linked to the goals and criteria of the 50 Campaign, contributing to promoting and positively impacting other activities in the unit. The goals of the 50 Campaign have been well and effectively implemented by GAET. In particular, the management of the exploitation of weapons and technical equipment in a good, durable, safe and economical manner has been carried out regularly and systematically, from the management of documents and records to the management of quantity and quality, promptly responding to production and business tasks. The work of ensuring safety in production, information technology safety, fire and explosion prevention (especially in the business of industrial explosives) and traffic safety has always been strictly implemented. In the past 5 years, the unit has had no fire or explosion incidents; officers and employees are regularly disseminated and trained to improve their awareness of traffic law compliance, minimizing risks in traffic participation. In the period of 2024-2029, GAET Corporation determines to continue promoting the achievements, encouraging cadres and employees to effectively implement the 50 Campaign. In particular, the focus is on promoting the dissemination, education and propaganda of the significance of the 50 Campaign; further improving the effectiveness of management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment, contributing to maintaining production capacity to meet task requirements; strengthening the organization of training on occupational safety, hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, especially in the business of industrial explosives; minimizing risks in traffic participation; promoting safety inspections in all activities, resolutely handling unsafe acts; well organizing the inspection and evaluation of the implementation results of the 50 Campaign.

Colonel Phan Anh Tu, Deputy General Director, Head of the Steering Committee of the 50 Movement of GAET Corporation, awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives that have successfully implemented the 50 Movement in the period 2019-2024.
On this occasion, the leaders and commanders of GAET Corporation awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and 17 individuals who performed well in the 50 Campaign for the period 2019-2024. GAET Corporation also proposed that the Steering Committee 50 of the General Department of Defense Industry commend 2 collectives and 1 individual who performed well in the 50 Campaign for the period 2019-2024. At the conference, representatives of agencies and units under GAET Corporation also signed a competition to perform well in the 50 Campaign for the period 2024-2029.
