On June 16, 2023, the General Corporation of Economic and Technical Defense Industry organized the 2023 Political Teaching Cadres Competition. Attending and directing the Competition were Colonel Tran Manh Hung - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Colonel Phan Chien Thang - General Director of the Corporation; comrades in the Party Committee of the Corporation; leaders and commanders of agencies and units; members of the Organizing Committee, the Jury of the Competition and the enthusiastic participation of 20 contestants along with comrades, cadres and employees of agencies and units cheering for the Competition.
Candidates participating in this year's contest are divided into 2 groups: Group 1 includes comrades who are Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of Party Committees at all levels; Group 2 includes comrades who are Heads and Deputy Heads of Political Departments (cadres in charge of political work); political assistants, comrades who regularly participate in political teaching at member units. Each candidate goes through 3 rounds of competition: Preparing lectures (including traditional lesson plans and electronic lesson plans); cognitive test in the form of multiple choice questions and practicing lectures.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Colonel Tran Manh Hung emphasized: The contest is an opportunity for political instructors at all levels to practice, improve their knowledge, skills and pedagogical methods; helping Party committees and commanders at all levels to properly assess the actual capacity of their unit's political instructors. At the same time, it serves as a basis for the Party Committee and the Corporation's commanders to have policies and measures to lead and direct the building of a team of political instructors, meeting the requirements of the unit's building tasks.
After 1 day of organization, with the spirit of urgency, seriousness, impartiality and objectivity. The 2023 Political Teaching Cadre Competition was a great success. The participating candidates had a mature and confident demeanor, mastered the content, covered the class, had methods and skills to convey the content to the audience, ensured systematicity, closely related to reality, had good ideological orientation, demonstrated high educational and persuasive qualities.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of the Corporation presented the Encouragement Prize to the contestant.
With the results achieved at the Contest, the Head of the Corporation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 First Prize winners; 3 Second Prize winners; 6 Third Prize winners and 9 Encouragement Prize winners.
